Job summary

BancFirst is seeking a Full-time Teller in Guthrie, OK. The onsite role requires handling retail and commercial transactions, promoting services, and delivering world-class customer service across three shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Weekly Saturdays may be scheduled. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Candidates must be able to work long hours standing or sitting, balance cash, and maintain security standards. Previous teller experience is a plus but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to process transactions accurately with consistency.
• Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Able to focus on task at hand with distractions in close quarters.
• Understanding of debits and credits.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of currency security features.
• Ability to balance teller cash and maintain acceptable balancing percentages as defined by management.
• Maintain Branch cash vault (if applicable).
• Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday.

Responsibilities

• Paying and Receiving Teller for retail and commercial businesses, knowledge of a Recycler useful.
• Process multiple transactions accurately and consistently.
• Sell money orders and official checks, order foreign currency.
• Promote BancFirst services through cross selling banking products to new and existing clientele, minimum goals and sales incentive will apply.
• World class customer service will be required at all times.
• Consistent execution of policies and procedures.
• Assist with other job related duties as requested by supervisor/manager

Full Time: Must be able and willing to work any shift as needed.

Must be able to lift (on occasion) 10-20 pounds

Able to perform opening and closing duties while maintaining security standards

Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous teller experience a plus, but will train

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday

Long periods of typing and repetitive motion

Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10-25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)
