Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

  Orangeburg, NY10962 – Rockland County, not NYC (about 30‑40 minutes north of NYC, not in the boroughs). Please apply only if you can commute to this location daily.

  Located in Orangeburg, NY in Rockland County, about: 15 minutes from White Plains 10 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge (officially Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge) Near the NJ border

• Set schedule: Full-Time and Part-time / Open Availability
• Schedule Part Time, Schedule 1: Sunday 6:00AM to 2:00PM, Schedule 2: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Previous SOC or GSOC experienced preferred but not required
• New York Security License
• CCURE 9000 Experience preferred but not required
• Genetec Experience preferred but not required
• Must have strong Computer Skills
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technologyIf you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
