Job summary

Hickory Trail Hospital in DeSoto, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for day and night shifts to lead care on a behavioral health unit. This hands-on role requires sound judgment and strong communication to support patients across a range of needs in a safe, therapeutic environment.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth within UHS and its numerous subsidiaries. Weekend/overtime flexibility may be required; new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing is required.
• Texas RN license or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• May be required to work weekends, overtime and have flexible hours. New grads welcome.

What You'll Do - Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse at Hickory Trail Hospital, you'll be an active clinical leader on the unit. This is a hands-on behavioral health role that calls for sound judgment, strong communication, and the ability to adjust when patient needs change. You'll care for patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges while helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment throughout your shift.
