Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for Calhoun State Prison in Morgan, GA. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address a wide range of health needs.

The role requires an Associate's degree, active RN licensure, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance, including background checks.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with DON and Nursing Supervisor to assess and respond to patient needs.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to address physical, psychological and social needs.
• Days shift 5:30am–6:00pm with rotating weekends.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Days 5:30m-6:00pm, with rotating weekends
