Job summary

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a busy multispecialty center serving Northern Suffolk as an affiliate of USPI. The RN will support the center's mission, work with physicians and staff, and help meet safety, quality and patient experience goals.

Qualifications include BSN preferred, VA RN license, BLS and ACLS within 90 days, plus 2 years OR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred.
• Current license as a VA Registered Nurse.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days.
• 2 years’ Operating Room experience preferred.
• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in support of USPI’s mission and facility goals.
• Establish effective relationships with patients, physicians, staff, volunteers and vendors.
• Work with Senior Management to meet safety, quality, customer service and financial goals.
• Maintain standards of perioperative nursing care per professional guidelines.

No Weekends, No Call, No Holidays

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI’s mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own. Each patient, each family, each and every time.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Registered Nurse works with Senior Management in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a professional school of Nursing – BSN preferred

• Experience: 2 years’ Operating Room experience preferred
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
