Stop & Shop in Cumberland, RI is seeking a Pharmacist to accurately process prescriptions, counsel patients, and provide immunizations as allowed by state law. You will ensure regulatory compliance and protect patient confidentiality while mentoring pharmacy staff.

This role emphasizes community health, collaboration with healthcare providers, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered service in a team-driven store environment.

Formación

• Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license and immunization certification in good standing with the state board.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and community care.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately process and verify prescriptions in accordance with laws and policies.
• Provide compassionate counseling to patients about medications.
• Serve as a trusted link between patients, healthcare providers, and the community.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient and company information.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
• Administer immunizations and other health services as allowed by law.
• Coach and mentor pharmacy technicians and team members.
• Collaborate with store and pharmacy leadership to achieve goals.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $53.85-$80.77 and will be commensurate with background, experience as well as internal equity.
