Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse in Metairie, LA. This role emphasizes no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements while delivering high-quality perioperative care in a physician-owned facility.

The OR RN will support orthopedic, sports medicine, ENT, and other specialties, work with a committed team, and provide comprehensive nursing care from pre-op to post-op.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a OR RN.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for diverse procedures.
• Monitor patient status and ensure safety during anesthesia and recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and staff to optimize patient outcomes.

We feature 2 operating rooms and 1 treatment room, equipped with advanced technology to support procedures in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, ENT, Podiatry, Pain Management, and Ocular Plastics.
