Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time, Evening Shift Certified Nursing Assistant at Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center in Joliet, Illinois. You will work under nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care for incarcerated individuals.

CNAs assist with personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring. Active Illinois CNA license and CPR/BLS certification are required; you must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required.
• CNA licensure in Illinois required.
• Experience as nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, daily living activities and vital sign monitoring.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time, Evening Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center in Joliet, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Hourly pay rate: $22.77/hour

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Illinois required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferredl
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
