Job summary

Sacred Circle Healthcare in Wendover, Utah, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at the Wendover Clinic. The role involves patient intake, vital signs, specimen handling, injections, and assisting physicians in procedures, with a Monday–Friday schedule and four 10-hour shifts when possible.

Experience in medical settings and CPR/MA certifications are preferred, and preference is given to applicants with knowledge of Native American communities and a commitment

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or reception experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Certification/license: Not required; some medical certifications may be relevant.
• Preferred: graduation from a recognized medical assisting program.
• CPR certification and MA certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check schedules and organize patient flow as assigned.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Take patient histories and vital signs.
• Perform blood draws and handle specimens.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and instruments.
• Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals.
• Assist with scheduling tests and treatments.
• Maintain patient files and records; contribute to data gathering.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow policies.
