River Point Behavioral Health, a River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., is a treatment facility in central Jacksonville, FL that specializes in substance abuse and mental health care for youth, adults and seniors. The FT LVN/LPN delivers patient care under a registered nurse and is part of the dedicated treatment team.

The position requires Florida LPN/LVN licensure, graduation from an approved program, and ideally one year of psychiatric/addictions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Florida license current as an LPN/LVN.
• One year nursing experience; psychiatric/addictions nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to adults, children and adolescents under RN direction.
• Utilizes nursing skills to deliver care to designated patients within a psychiatric/substance abuse setting.
• Acts as medication nurse and maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients as an active treatment-team member.

We are pleased to announce the following available position: FT LVN/LPN

The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers nursing care to adults, children and adolescent patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for utilizing technical nursing skills in providing care to designated patients and incorporates a basic understanding of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. Serves as an active member of the treatment team; a medication nurse, and maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing School; maintains current Florida license; one year nursing experience, psychiatric and/or addictions nursing preferred.
