University Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. This position is the Intake Counselor, responsible for initial risk assessment and coordinating referrals for potential patients to determine the appropriate level of care.

The role requires a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field, and Texas licensure options such as LPC/LCSW/RN.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in psychology, social work or related field preferred.
• A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice as a LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or RN in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities
