Primary Purpose

As an Expeditor, you serve as the customer service liaison for the Hannaford To Go department, ensuring smooth and efficient pickup and delivery processes, and representing Hannaford positively through accurate, high-quality orders and excellent customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize shopping and pickup processes.
• Conduct order reviews and check product quality, especially produce.
• Ensure order accuracy and stage orders appropriately.
• Setup shopper carts and partner with departments for item preparation.
• Dispense orders to customers and delivery drivers, both car-side and through dashboards.
• Answer customer inquiries via phone and manage order time and completeness goals.
• Handle cash pickups, verify IDs, and adhere to store policies on age-restricted items.

Additional Duties

• Follow all company policies and maintain a neat appearance.
• Handle return-to-stock items promptly, especially perishables.
• Support safety standards and report equipment issues.
• Maintain a safe, debris-free work area.
• Recognize and differentiate produce types and varieties.
• Record discrepancies and secure store assets when unattended.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive motions, stand/walk during shifts.
• Wear shopping devices hands-free.
• Lifting up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Work outdoors in inclement weather when necessary.
• Handle various substances including produce, seafood, and cleaning materials.
• Sufficient visual acuity to read screens and documents.

Salary range: $15.90 - $21.60 hourly
