Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Repair Technician (Guitar) in Peoria, IL to provide maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory. You will build a strong customer experience and deliver quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include interacting with customers, repairing guitars, maintaining gear, completing warranty work, and taking on additional duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr - $22.50/hr plus commission depending on background and experience.

As our Repair Tech (Guitar), you will provide perform maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and to assist in maintenance of specific store inventory, continually building and increasing the business through great customer experience and quality work.

• Selling: Able to work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
• Training: Able to effectively train learners and communicate info and techniques so that they are retained.
