Guitar Center in Yakima is seeking a Sr. Sales Associate who can lead with energy and passion for music. You will engage customers, drive sales, and share deep product knowledge across guitars and recording gear.

You will mentor teammates, maintain dynamic displays, and help open/close shifts as needed while fostering strong ties with the local music community.

Pay Rate: $20.53/hr - $25.66/hr plus commission depending on background and experience.

Your Jam as a Sr. Sales Associate:

• Customer Engagement: Create a welcoming environment where customers feel inspired to explore their musical passions. Help customers find the perfect gear to bring their sound to life.
• Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets with flair! Upsell and cross-sell like a pro by connecting customers with the perfect instruments and accessories to complete their musical setup.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of our gear, from the latest guitars to cutting-edge recording equipment, and help enhance the knowledge of others.
• Customer Relationship Building: Grow your fanbase! Maintain strong relationships and help fellow Associates foster them. Help your team be the go-to in the local music community.
• Merchandising and Store Maintenance: Keep the store looking as cool as your favorite album cover. Organize displays, restock shelves, and maintain that music store vibe.
• Store Support and Operations: Practice your leadership abilities by guiding and mentoring your fellow team members, supporting them through customer interactions and operational tasks. As a keyholding member of the store, you will be looked on for opening and closing the store as needed.
