Job summary

BEAVERCREEK is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide for food services in Dayton, OH. The role involves assisting with meal prep, assembling trays, delivering meals, and maintaining sanitary cooking areas.

You will report to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and work under the Dietary Manager's guidance. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, reliability, teamwork, and basic food service exposure.

Qualifications

  • Reliable, team-oriented, and respectful in a resident-centered environment.
  • Food service experience helpful, training may be provided.

  • Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain sanitation standards
  • Stock and rotate supplies using safe storage practices
  • Follow food safety guidelines, allergy precautions, and infection control procedures
  • Communicate needs, concerns, or changes to the Dietary Manager

Ability to solve practical problems.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.

Physical Demands

The essential functions of this position require the following physical abilities: Standing and /or walking very frequently. Sitting occasionally. Reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling very frequently. Talking and /or hearing very frequently. Tasting and /or smelling very frequently. Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.
