Job summary

The GIANT Company in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a dedicated team member for our Produce department. In this role you’ll help prepare for shifts, stock and rotate items, and ensure that displays are clean, inviting, and compliant with food safety standards.

You’ll work with a collaborative team to meet daily KPIs, maintain accurate shelves, and support seamless store operations, including labeling, pricing, and customer service. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Camp Hill location.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties and follow safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must adhere to and direct all food safety requirements for the produce department.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes for this job.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboarding skills.
• Must complete the in-house forklift-training program.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Promptly, at the start of the shift, review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, follow food safety requirements, perform markdowns, and do department tasks as needed.
• Check inventory daily, remove out-of-date items, load pallets into cooler, select, stock, and restock items, maintain displays.
• Responsible for achieving all key performance indicators (KPI) for the department.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools and equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
• Track record and loss using known loss tracking (KLT).
