Job summary

Allen Brothers, part of The Chefs’ Warehouse, is seeking an FSQA Technician I to monitor production processes and ensure products meet food safety quality standards. You will inspect materials, test samples, and report findings to the QA Manager while maintaining sanitary lab conditions and assisting with HR recruitment of sanitation staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test raw materials to ensure vendor compliance with specifications and established procedures.
• Monitor current procedures to assure compliance to required specifications, reporting findings to QA Manager for changes.
• Put non-conforming product or unsanitary processing equipment on HOLD status.
• Perform technical operations such as taking and/or shipping samples, examining/analyzing product, recording results and taking corrective action.
• Assist with the completion of reports requested by management.
• Clean, maintain, and sanitize all equipment in Quality Control area according to rules and procedures.
• Basic lab cleaning including sweeping and dusting.
• Inputting analytical data
• Assist HR with recruitment, hiring and training of sanitation personnel.
• Deliver samples for testing to outside laboratories
• Perform all other duties as assigned
