Job summary

Home Base Arkansas is seeking an FSQA Technician I to perform real-time quality control checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. You will operate and maintain laboratory instruments, verify production records, and document inspection results under the FSQA Supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in quality inspection or data collection, and 6 months in a lab setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and basic quality inspection exposure.
• Experience in quality inspection, data collection or lab testing is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems is expected.
• Strong attention to detail and logical reasoning capabilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on packaging and products to ensure specs are met.
• Perform in-process quality checks and evaluate others' work for accuracy.
• Ensure products meet FSMA and Global Food Safety standards.
• Execute checks including lab tests, measurements, weights, date codes, and packaging integrity.
• Enter test results into the quality database and document samples.
• Identify nonconformances and notify FSQA leadership for disposition.
• Visually inspect containers for defects and rework as needed.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; follow SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with team and support FSQA goals with additional duties.
