Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an FSQA Supervisor to lead Food Safety and Quality Assurance in a USDA-regulated meat processing facility. You will supervise daily FSQA activities and develop the team.

The role focuses on HACCP, SQF/BRC compliance, audits, and continuous improvement, partnering with Operations to maintain safety, quality, and regulatory adherence. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Food Science or related field.
• HACCP Certification or SQF Practitioner preferred.
• Experience in BRC, SQF, or other GFSI-certified facilities.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily FSQA activities in a USDA-regulated meat processing facility.
• Lead, coach, train FSQA Technicians and QA staff.
• Ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS, HACCP plans, GMPs, SSOPs, SQF, and BRC.
• Conduct production floor inspections and quality verifications.
• Support audits and corrective actions.
• Investigate issues and implement CAPA.
• Oversee documentation, holds, and release procedures.
• Promote food safety culture and documentation adherence.
