Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Food Science or related field
• 2 years of lab experience or more
• Understanding of physical processes relating to cheese and packaging quality
• Ability to make sound, independent decisions based on expertise
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Conduct checks and verifications to ensure raw materials and packaged products meet specifications
• Support product hold and release by completing investigations
• Log customer complaints and data to aid investigations
• Perform GMP, Food Safety and Glass & Brittle Plastic inspections
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies
• Lead cross-departmental meetings and participate in resolutions
