Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a FSQA auditor to support and evaluate raw material audits, ensuring compliance with supplier and regulatory specifications. You will assess color, size, defects, and mispacks, and submit claims for non-conforming products using electronic systems.

You will collaborate with FSQA, Merchandising, and Accounting to resolve claims and may assist in training staff on FSQA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some postsecondary education preferred.
• Ability to write reports and present information in English.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Physically and visually assess quality attributes of raw materials against specs.
• Submit supplier claims for non-conforming products using email/electronic system.
• Coordinate with FSQA, Merchandising, and Accounting to ensure claims are paid.
• Assist in training FSQA programs and procedures.
