Job summary

Bauer Consulting Group, Inc. (The Food Recruiter) is seeking a FSQA Manager for its Lakeland, FL area operations. The role leads Quality Assurance programs across production and packaging, ensuring compliance with FSMA, HACCP, GMP, SQF and other food-safety standards.

You will manage internal and third-party audits, oversee QA testing, enforce sanitation and allergen controls, and drive corrective actions via robust root-cause analyses. Strong training and traceability capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or Engineering discipline.
• PCQI certified or SQF Practitioner with at least 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Sanitation, Pest Control, HACCP, GMP, FSMA, SQF, BRC, USDA, FDA, GFSI, Non-GMO, Halal, and Kosher.
• Oversee QA testing for all Production and Packaging lines. Manage 3rd party Audits and Laboratories. Enforce strict Sanitation and Allergen controls.
• Review, Investigate and resolve Customer complaints by conducting Root-Cause analysis and immediately implementing sustainable Corrective Actions.
• Provide employee training for Quality compliance of AIB, GMP, BRC, SQF, HACCP and Food Quality Safety.
• Implement Traceability and Mock Recall procedures and practices.
