Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of food safety and/or quality experience required.
• Strong knowledge of basic food microbiology and GMPs.
• Experience with data collection, manipulation and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) including documentation and sampling.
• Trend microbiological testing of in-process and final products.
• Conduct trend analysis of pre-operation inspections and report to management.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and shelf life studies.
• Assist in equipment commissioning, documentation, sampling and cross-functional training.
• Ensure food safety system continuity and back up FSQA operations as needed.
