Job summary

EY is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Manager to drive cyber solution development and enable growth across client engagements. You will serve as a trusted advisor to account leadership, shaping cybersecurity programs and expanding EY Cyber services.

You will collaborate with partners, architects, and practices to position EY as the preferred cyber transformation advisor while leading pursuit materials and solution accelerators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15+ years of cybersecurity consulting, advisory, or industry experience.
• Proven success leading large-scale cyber transformation programs.
• Experience supporting sales pursuits and account growth.
• Experience developing cybersecurity business cases, roadmaps, and operating models.
• Strong understanding of managed security services and security operations.
• Experience working directly with CISOs and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated cybersecurity solutions aligned to client business objectives and risk priorities.
• Design innovative offerings spanning Cyber Defense & Fraud
• Lead development of repeatable service offerings, solution accelerators, and implementation frameworks.

• Develop operating models, service catalogs, staffing plans, implementation roadmaps, and target-state architectures.
• Incorporate AI, automation, analytics, and GenAI-enabled capabilities into cybersecurity solutions.
• Lead cybersecurity proposal development for strategic opportunities for Cyber Defense & Fraud.
• Present solutions during client workshops, orals, and executive sessions.
• Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Manage pipeline forecasting and reporting for cyber opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Conduct assessments of cyber operating models, capabilities, and organizational structures.
• Align cybersecurity programs with regulatory and industry requirements.
• Contribute to development of new EY cyber offerings and go-to-market solutions for Cyber Defense & Fraud.
• Support thought leadership, client roundtables, and industry events.
• Mentor managers, consultants, and solution architects.

The Cybersecurity Senior Manager (SM2) is responsible for driving strategic cyber solution development, supporting priority account growth, and enabling the successful pursuit and delivery of cybersecurity services across client engagements. This role serves as a trusted advisor to account leadership teams, helping clients address complex cyber risks while identifying opportunities to expand EY Cyber services.

The individual will work closely with client-serving partners, account teams, solution architects, managed service leaders, and global cybersecurity practices to develop differentiated solutions, support pursuits, and position EY as the preferred cyber transformation advisor.

Key Responsibilities

Cyber Solution Development – Cyber Defense & Fraud

• Lead development of integrated cybersecurity solutions aligned to client business objectives and risk priorities.


• Design innovative offerings spanning Cyber Defense & Fraud


• Lead development of repeatable service offerings, solution accelerators, and implementation frameworks.


• Collaborate with sector cyber teams to bring leading practices and emerging capabilities into client solutions.


• Develop operating models, service catalogs, staffing plans, implementation roadmaps, and target-state architectures.


• Incorporate AI, automation, analytics, and GenAI-enabled capabilities into cybersecurity solutions.

Account Field of Play Support

• Serve as the cyber domain lead for strategic accounts across the insurance sector.


• Support account teams in identifying, qualifying, and shaping cybersecurity opportunities.


• Develop account growth strategies and opportunity roadmaps.


• Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, including CIO and CISO.


• Drive executive-level discussions around cybersecurity transformation and business risk.


• Maintain account intelligence on client priorities, operating models, technology landscape, and cyber maturity.

Pursuit & Proposal Management

• Lead cybersecurity proposal development for strategic opportunities for Cyber Defense & Fraud.


• Develop pursuit materials including executive presentations, Statements of Work (SOWs), business cases, cost estimates, transformation roadmaps and managed service solutions


• Present solutions during client workshops, orals, and executive sessions.


• Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions.


• Manage pipeline forecasting and reporting for cyber opportunities.

Client Advisory & Transformation Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity strategy and transformation initiatives.


• Conduct assessments of cyber operating models, capabilities, and organizational structures.


• Advise clients on cyber investment prioritization, service optimization, managed service adoption, workforce transformation and risk reduction strategies


• Align cybersecurity programs with regulatory and industry requirements.

Market & Practice Development

• Contribute to development of new EY cyber offerings and go-to-market solutions for Cyber Defense & Fraud.


• Support thought leadership, client roundtables, and industry events.


• Mentor managers, consultants, and solution architects.


• Share reusable assets, methodologies, and market insights for Cyber Defense & Fraud across the cyber practice.

Required Qualifications

Education

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job is:




• New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $204,800 to $425,500


• Bay Area California offices – $213,300 to $443,200


• All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $170,600 to $390,000




• Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
