EY is seeking a Transformation Architecture advisor in the United States to help government and public sector clients tackle strategic challenges. You will join multidisciplinary teams to align strategy, budgeting, and performance metrics, driving value and efficiency across engagements.

You will work with leaders, develop skills in Transformation Architecture, and have opportunities for professional growth within a flexible, hybrid model that supports diverse experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from a leading university in business, finance, or other quantitative discipline (e.g. engineering).
• Minimum of 1 year proven experience designing and implementing enterprise strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities

As one of our Transformation Architecture advisors, you'll help our country’s crucial government departments and agencies tackle their most pressing issues. Working in multidisciplinary teams, often directly with leaders of major organizations, you'll bring diverse perspectives to every challenge. We'll help you achieve your potential by supporting your professional development and giving you experience of working with a diverse range of clients. You'll have the opportunity to build your skills in Transformation Architecture while also being able to team with professionals from other parts of the organization on multidisciplinary engagements.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Adegree(graduate degree preferred) from a leading university in business, finance, or other quantitative discipline (e.g. engineering)
• Minimum of1 years of proven experience working with clients to design and implement enterprise strategies, such as: Operating model design; Innovation management; Enterprise economics and value creation; Customer economics, business performance and cost to serve analysis; Competitor analysis; Board/C‑suite workshop facilitation; Enterprise economic and scenario modeling; Strategic goals and objective‑setting; Strategic Planning process; and Strategic business portfolio design
• Strong written and verbal communications, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing industry and deep content knowledge in the Strategy area
• A forward‑thinking self‑motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge
• Ability to take abstract questions and issues and structure them into manageable, specific work streams and deliverables
• Experience in conducting fact‑based analysis, as well as developing and testing alternative hypotheses
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a [secret/public trust] clearance or higher.
• The EY Government and Public Sector Practice’s staffing model is to assign resources to projects aligned to the office within the metropolitan area you have been hired; however, in certain circumstances, travel may be required within and/or beyond your geographic region based on client and project needs. For roles within the federal practice, the flexibility to travel up to approximately 30% is preferred. Within the state, local and education practice, the flexibility to travel up to approximately 80% is preferred.

Ideally you’ll also have

• Prior consulting experience with a Big 4 firm or large global institution

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $69,700 to $114,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $83,500 to $130,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Join us in our team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
