Cognizant in the United States is hiring a FSE Lead (.Net/Azure) to design, develop, and support scalable, secure applications while partnering with client stakeholders to deliver high‑quality technical solutions.

You will lead a software engineering delivery team, drive modern Microsoft technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools, and ensure performance through monitoring and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

• Experience as a Full Stack Developer with .NET/Azure
• Proficiency with CI/CD and Azure PaaS
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools is a plus

About the role

As a Full Stack Lead Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-performing applications while partnering with client stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, client managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions, guiding technical design and advancements.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern Microsoft technologies.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate coding, testing, and troubleshooting, and implement basic AI-driven features such as chat-based interfaces or lightweight automation agents.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and monitor Azure infrastructure (CPU, memory, logs) to optimize performance.

What you need to have to be considered

• Strong expertise as a Full Stack Developer in Microsoft technologies (.NET, Azure, SQL) and modern UI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity.

These will help you stand out

• Familiarity with building simple AI-driven workflows, chatbots, or AI agents using modern frameworks or APIs.
• Experience optimizing application and infrastructure performance through monitoring and tuning.
• Experience collaborating directly with client stakeholders to shape technical direction.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until October 14 th , 2026

• The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $131,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
