Job summary

A. Duda & Sons Inc is seeking a FSQA/QC Technician to support food safety and quality programs at our Belle Glade facility.

The role ensures compliance with food safety practices, verifies product meets customer specifications, and confirms processing rooms meet standards prior to start-up and throughout production. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, enforcing GMPs, validating labeling and dates, collecting samples, and maintaining comprehensive QA records across locations as

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 6+ months QA/QC or food safety experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• English required; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct food safety and quality inspections during production.
• Enforce GMPs and food safety procedures; document non-compliance and corrective actions.
• Verify product quality, labeling, packaging, and date accuracy.
• Perform inventory age reports and collect product samples.
• Calibrate QA tools; monitor water systems, ATP swabs, and metal detection.
• Maintain accurate and organized food safety documentation.
• Collect environmental, equipment, water, and field samples as needed.
• Assist with investigations and follow-up on unusual occurrences.
• Support QA/QC operations at other Duda locations as needed.
