Lamb Weston in Richland, WA is seeking a Frozen Inspect ML and Retail lines associate for Grave B shift to inspect finished product prior to packaging and to alert supervisors of any quality concerns. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to packaging standards in a fast moving environment.

You will conduct foreign material inspections, remove defective units, and participate in standard QA checks, while following safety protocols and communicating concerns to the Production Team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Sanitation qualified required.

Responsabilités

  • Participate in safety engagement processes and report safety concerns.
  • Perform foreign material inspection and remove nonconforming product before packaging.
  • Inspect and remove product with undesirable quality attributes (defects, batter defects, misshapen units).
  • Work safely and communicate unsafe conditions or equipment issues to Leads.

Job Description Summary

The person assigned to this role will conduct the inspection of finished product prior to packaging to maintain consistent quality assurance levels and to identify any foreign material, remove it from the line, and alert a supervisor.


Job Description


  • Participate in the safety engagement process. This includes giving I Care huddles, conducting area assessments, and addressing all safety concerns with the Production Team Lead.

  • Works in a safe and efficient manner, communicating all unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to lead or operators immediately.

  • Be actively engaged in safety, participate in safety programs, safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members. Must report all incidents, near misses, and any safety concerns.

  • Must provide foreign material inspection of all finished product prior to the packaging function. Removal of foreign material as well as the timely notification of quality assurance will be required.

  • Must provide inspection and removal of product possessing undesirable quality attributes. These attributes may include, but are not limited to, defects, batter defects, misshapen units, clusters, batter balls, etc.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Sanitation qualified required.


Education


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

  • Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts.

  • Will frequently be exposed to moderately cold surroundings.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

  • Must be able to work beside moving conveyor belts without getting motion sickness.

  • Will regularly work around forklift traffic.
