Job summary

Northeast Grocery in Barre, VT is seeking a dedicated team member to assist the Grocery Manager with the operation of the frozen food area. You will help with merchandising, pricing, stocking, planograms, displays, rotation and inventory to maximize sales.

You will also oversee clerks in the frozen foods section, train new associates, ensure sanitation and pricing compliance, and support front-end needs when required, while maintaining superior customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to manage others and follow-through to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, efficient customer service at all times.
• Assist Grocery Manager with frozen foods merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation and inventory.
• Oversee clerks in frozen foods area and ensure displays, rotation and inventory levels.
• Assist with ordering of merchandise and supplies for the frozen foods area.
• Store excess product in freezer and maintain sanitation and pricing procedures.
• Train and develop new associates in the frozen foods area and control shrink as directed.
