Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Frozen Foods Clerk to provide prompt, friendly service, rotate and replenish items, and keep the department clean and safe.

You will greet customers by name when possible, help locate products, assist with loading heavy items, and work as part of a team to maintain high standards and accurate temperature checks. This non-exempt, full-time role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement; six months or less of similar work preferred.

Six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds of force frequently, and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.Working Conditions :This position is continually exposed to noise, temperature extremes, and dampness. There is frequent exposure to equipment movement hazards.
