Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Sterling, VA seeks a Froster to apply our signature frosting to cakes and support order fulfillment. You will use pastry bags and mixers to frost cakes, prioritize walk-ins and pre-orders, and help keep the display case stocked with sample frosted treats.

Training is provided and you’ll work across multiple shifts with a friendly team; expect a fast-paced bakery environment with a focus on quality and customer delight.

Qualifications

• Follow NbC frosting recipe and application methods with precision.
• Handle measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixer and pastry bag accurately.
• Prioritize cake pre-orders and frost walk-in guest orders accordingly.
• Maintain frosting supplies and frosting/cake par levels for the display case.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and NbC policies.

Responsibilities

• Follows NbC proprietary frosting recipe and applies methods with precision.
• Uses measuring instruments, mixer and pastry bag to frost cakes.
• Prioritizes pre-orders and frost cakes for walk-in guests.
• Keeps display case stocked with samples and frosted cakes.
• Maintains frosting and refrigeration logs and packaging standards.
• Monitors frosting supply inventory and notifies when replenishment is needed.
• Cleans and restocks workstation, supports next shift, and sanitizes equipment.
• Adheres to dress code, personal hygiene, and all safety guidelines.
