Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two years of college-level education preferred.
• Prior hospital experience is a plus.
• Computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline administrative and receptionist support for the nursing unit.
• Manage phones and visitor inquiries; coordinate communications among patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Initiate, maintain and close electronic medical records (EMR) during patient stay.
• Assist with non-clinical patient services and ensure smooth unit operations.
