Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Laboratory Operations professional to ensure specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed and stored, supporting accuracy and timeliness of patient results.

You will champion safety, compliance and quality control while adhering to PPE requirements and PHI privacy standards in a first-shift role (Mon-Fri, 4am–12pm) with benefits and opportunities for growth within Sonic Healthcare USA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
