Job summary

United States Army Reserve is seeking an Interior Electrician to install, maintain, and safely distribute electricity within interior systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, electrical boxes, and lightning rods. You’ll test equipment, fix short circuits, and learn to read blueprints and wire plans to determine layouts; eligibility includes U.S.

citizenship or I-551 status, background checks, drug screening, and good health.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• No felony.
• Must currently be in good health with no physical limitations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and safely distribute electricity within interior systems.
• Work on interior electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, electrical boxes, and lightning rods.
• Test equipment and fix any short circuits in wires and faulty equipment.
• Read blueprints and wire plans to determine layouts and repair.
