Job summary

4M Building Solutions is seeking a General Cleaner to join our frontline team in Plainfield, IL. You will be trained in state-of-the-art cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-sealed supplies, serving as the friendly face of the company and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

The role includes wiping surfaces, replenishing supplies, taking out trash, and reporting issues. Candidates must be 18+, pass drug/background checks, and wear provided PPE per OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Some janitorial experience required. (We train you in our best practices)
• Successful drug screening and background check.
• Comply with safety guidelines.
• The team member must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Train in 4M's cleaning practices using green-sealed supplies and equipment.
• Be the friendly face of 4M. Reliable, courteous, resourceful.
• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash and replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, leaks, and drips as you notice them.
