American Bank Montana is seeking a Teller in Bozeman to deliver courteous, professional service at both lobby and drive-up windows. The role requires accurate math, strong customer relations, and the ability to learn new banking systems while representing the bank with integrity.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cross-sell bank products, while maintaining compliance and balancing cash.

Responsibilities

Represent American Bank to the customer in a courteous, professional manner.
Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing transactions.
Answer phone calls promptly, delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Receive checks and cash for deposit to savings and checking accounts, verify amounts, and enter transactions into the teller system.
Cash checks and pay money from savings and checking accounts after verification of signatures and balances.
Accept loan payments of all types ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Sell bank products for fee income (Money Orders, Statement Copies, Cashier Checks, etc.).
Redeem cash items for deposit or cash and promote bank services.
Provide information for customers regarding accounts and products with proper verification.
Balance cash and negotiable items.
Complete required banking compliance training and follow regulations.
