Job summary

Amae Health in Boston is seeking a Psychiatrist (full or part-time) to join an interdisciplinary clinic delivering personalized, high-quality care for individuals with severe mental illness. The role operates in a clinic owned and operated by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).

You will provide behavioral healthcare management across treatment modalities, develop customized plans, and collaborate with care teams to ensure integrated, coordinated care for patients with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with MA license and active DEA.
• In possession of Clozapine REMS certification and Medicaid enrollment if needed.
• Prior experience with mental health and/or addiction issues; familiarity with the greater Boston area systems.
• Holistic perspective on health and patient rights; ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable in dynamic settings and using technology to improve care.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral healthcare management for Amae Health patients via multiple treatment modalities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans during engagement and stabilization phases.
• Provide continuous consultations in person and virtually as patients recover.
• Liaise with patient care teams to ensure an integrated, cohesive care approach.
• Address medical needs to mitigate social determinants of health.
