Qualifications

• Are enrolled in a PhD program
• Can relocate to where the internship is based
• Experience programming in Java, Python, and where applicable, C++ or JAX
• Must be eligible for and available for full‑time (40 hours per week) internship for the whole duration of the internship/co‑op
• Demonstrated science depth in a specific research area, evidenced through publications, thesis work, or equivalent contributions
• Publication records at science conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICRA, RSS, CoRL, ICLR

Responsibilities

• Develop novel, scalable algorithms and modeling techniques at the intersection of LLMs and robotics
• Tackle challenging, groundbreaking research problems on production‑scale data focusing on perception, manipulation, and control
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to communicate research findings clearly across ML, robotics, and software
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, changing environment
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, experimentation, and prototyping; review outputs critically
