Frontier AI Product Owner & Program Leader
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. We help companies connect, protect, analyze, and act on their data and applications wherever they live, from edge to cloud, so they can turn insights into outcomes at the speed required to thrive in today’s complex world. Are you ready to make an impact at one of the world’s leading technology companies? HPE’s Cybersecurity team is where you can do just that. Frontier AI models can now find security vulnerabilities at a speed and scale that weren’t possible a year ago. HPE's Cybersecurity team is already putting these models to work.
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Frontier AI Product Owner & Program Leader to scale this work across the enterprise. You'll work with the most advanced AI models available and help turn proven approaches into scalable capabilities. If you're passionate about security, curious about the potential of AI, and love bringing structure to complex, fast-changing work, this role brings it all together and we'd love to hear from you.
Frontier AI is changing the cybersecurity landscape. Advanced AI models can discover, reason about, and, in some cases, exploit security weaknesses at machine speed. HPE is building sustainable, AI-enabled capabilities that help identify and address vulnerabilities earlier, strengthen product development, and enable teams to stay ahead of emerging threats.
The Frontier AI Product Owner & Program Leader is a senior individual contributor role, supported by a project manager (PMO), that works very closely with senior executive leaders. You will own the integrated product roadmap and priorities, make trade-offs, define outcomes, and drive iterative delivery across multiple technical teams and workstreams. You will translate the program’s strategic objectives into executable work and adapt priorities as the technology, risk landscape, and business needs evolve.
The role will initially focus on scaling AI-enabled product security testing, supporting integration into the secure development lifecycle, and giving leaders clear visibility of progress, risk, dependencies, investment, and decisions required. In the future, the role will expand to applying Frontier AI to other cybersecurity use cases.
You are an experienced cybersecurity product owner and program leader who knows how to turn complex problems into prioritized, executable work. You have used Agile ways of working to lead delivery across multiple types of cybersecurity programs and know how to translate outcomes into a roadmap, backlog, incremental delivery, and measurable results. You thrive in a rapidly evolving technology landscape, bringing structure, focus, and momentum while continuously adjusting priorities as technology, risk, and business needs change.
You lead through influence. You align stakeholders, create clarity across workstreams, make difficult trade-off decisions, and establish accountability without direct authority. You are data-driven and credible with senior leaders. You use metrics to show progress and impact, translate technical work into decisions senior leaders can act on, and raise risks and trade-offs early. You bring broad cybersecurity experience and enough technical fluency to engage credibly with experts across different security domains, challenge assumptions, and connect the work to business and risk outcomes. You have a working understanding of AI and a strong interest in how emerging AI capabilities can change cybersecurity.
You are energized by building something that doesn't yet fully exist. You can turn ambiguity into a structured path forward.
Own the Frontier AI product roadmap and priorities, translating cybersecurity objectives and emerging AI capabilities into prioritized work based on risk, business value, technical feasibility, dependencies, and learning.
Establish Agile ways of working across the program, creating a consistent approach to prioritization, planning, delivery, reviews, and measurement across multiple technical workstreams.
Drive end-to-end delivery across the Frontier AI portfolio, connecting onboarding, testing, validation, remediation, retesting, and longer-term integration into repeatable cybersecurity capabilities.
Drive business‑unit engagement and adoption. Partner with BU leaders to prioritize products and use cases, secure participation, incorporate feedback, and make trade‑offs that keep the highest‑value work moving.
Own the integrated program view and executive reporting. Define measures of success, track progress and risk reduction, integrate financial and performance inputs, and give leaders a concise view of outcomes, risks, investment, blockers, and decisions required.
Anticipate program‑level risks and constraints, including sensitive‑data handling, model access, infrastructure, specialist talent, third‑party dependencies, and organizational readiness.
