Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Frontier Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to design and deliver next-generation, AI-enabled applications and cloud-native solutions. You will apply Generative AI tools across the software development lifecycle, collaborating across API, cloud engineering, DevOps, databases, and AI architecture.

You will work to build scalable solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, develop CI/CD pipelines, and drive modernization while ensuring responsible AI

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and hands-on experience applying Generative AI tools.
• Strong polyglot development experience with Java and Spring Boot plus modern technologies such as Angular, React, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs within modern distributed or cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on expertise with MCP, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) at scale, and grounding strategies, knowledge graphs and ontology engineering.
• Experience designing or developing cloud-native solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage Generative AI development tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies to accelerate software development, testing, and cloud-platform changes.
• Develop and enhance scalable API and user interface solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, Node.js, and Python.
• Design and build cloud-native solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps capabilities, and database engineering.
• Architect enterprise-scale AI agent solutions, including trust layers, grounding strategies, and cross-agent governance frameworks that support responsible AI adoption.
• Work as a polyglot engineer across software development, quality engineering, cloud engineering, and database engineering to successfully deliver pilots and innovative technology solutions.
