Perplexity seeks energetic engineers to join the Agent Engine team, building frontier intelligence systems including Perplexity Computer, the Comet ecosystem, and our Agent API. You will bring AI expertise and a tinkerer's mindset to advance agents for millions of users across local execution, cloud, and custom executors.

You’ll work with a small, fast-moving team on design, model training, and secure-by-design architectures, delivering delightful, reliable agent experiences across environments.

Formación

• Strong foundational familiarity with the AI systems stack.
• Proficiency in Python (bonus points for TypeScript, Go, and/or Rust).
• Significant experience in at least one of: Harness engineering; Agent Skills and plugin architectures; Model training and reinforcement learning; Browser technologies (CDP, Playwright, extension development).

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to designing and building frontier agent experiences and agentic systems.
• Develop secure and scalable agent architectures and data representations.
• Collaborate with engineering and applied research to advance agent capabilities and UX.
