Job summary

Virtu Financial is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in C# to join the Triton Development team in New York. You will contribute to a state-of-the-art Execution Management System used by hedge funds and institutional investors, delivering high-performance desktop applications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience with multi-threaded C# UIs, strong .NET knowledge, and a passion for technical excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
Proven experience delivering multi-threaded, high-performance UIs in C#.
Strong understanding of Core C#/.NET for GUI and Server side development.
Experience with desktop-based applications (not web applications).
Knowledge of multi-asset classes and trading systems is a plus.
Experience leveraging .NET memory and performance profiling tools.
Proficient in object-oriented programming and languages (Java or WPF).
Experience with unit testing.
Self-starter and stand-out contributor with a real passion for technical excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Scale up capacity and performance of C# software components and end user experiences through Agile development methods.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and optimal design of next generation features.
