Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with QA leadership to drive quality across a FinTech platform. You will define and implement QA strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure release readiness in an agile environment.

The role focuses on testing web/mobile/API apps, building automation, and aligning processes with regulatory requirements like SOC 2/PCI DSS. Collaboration with product, security, and DevOps is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA expertise with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Experience in regulated/high-availability environments such as FinTech or SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the QA strategy, standards, and best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers (manual and automation).
• Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting for product health and release readiness.
• Advocate for quality across the organization and embed QA early in the SDLC.
• Oversee test planning, test case development, and execution for web, mobile, and API apps.
• Drive automation strategy across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams; participate in sprint planning.
