Qualifications

• Strong command of React and TypeScript in production codebases.
• Experience shipping complex web apps with interactive UI elements.
• Ability to optimize performance in large, real-time editors.
• Collaborative with design and product to shape flow and UX.
• Experience in startup or high-ownership environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core user-facing features in the Flux web app using React and TypeScript.
• Partner with design to refine flows and interactions from concept through production.
• Maintain predictable and scalable UI state within a multi-pane editor.
• Improve responsiveness and perceived performance as projects grow.
• Integrate frontend systems with APIs and assist backend changes when needed.
• Maintain and evolve shared component libraries and design primitives.
• Add instrumentation for features (usage, errors, UX dashboards).
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and lightweight documentation.
• Mentor other frontend engineers on best practices where appropriate.
