Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Frontend Engineer to design and build data-rich interfaces for defense and security missions. You will work with React, TypeScript, and mapping tech to render real-time geospatial data and dashboards for operators and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong React/TypeScript with modern frontend ecosystem expertise.
• Experience with geospatial data, mapping tech, or data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve frontend architecture for complex applications.
• Build reusable UI components for real-time data analysis and visualization.
• Develop high-performance 2D/3D mapping tools and data pipelines.
• Improve rendering performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX, product owners, and systems engineers.
