Job summary

Speedrun Talent Network is seeking a frontend engineer to join Gamma, an AI-powered real-time editor built on CRDTs and WebSockets in San Francisco. You’ll help ship features that make collaboration feel effortless and ensure the editor stays fast and polished.

The team values in-person collaboration 4–5 days a week with flexible remote days, and you’ll work with designers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality UI and scalable APIs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web apps with React/JS.
• Sharp attention to detail in UI implementation.
• Experience with real-time collaboration or related tech.
• Curious, low-ego mindset.
• Nice to have experience building rich text editors.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve real-time editing experience using CRDTs and WebSockets.
• Ship full-stack features that integrate AI into UI.
• Optimize frontend performance for a fast, scalable editor.
• Collaborate with designers on high-quality UI interactions.
• Contribute to open-source projects core to Gamma's web app.
• Design APIs with backend engineers for seamless collaboration.
