Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Frontend Engineer in San Francisco, CA to own and deliver highly interactive web experiences. You will work closely with founders, engineers, and product stakeholders to ship features from concept to delivery, building fast, accessible interfaces that scale with user demand.

You will contribute to frontend architecture decisions, optimize performance, and help shape product direction in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
Strong expertise with React and TypeScript.
Experience building complex web applications at scale.
Deep understanding of state management and modern frontend architecture.
Strong product sense and ability to make informed UX decisions.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
Develop highly interactive user experiences with focus on performance and responsiveness.
Collaborate with product and engineering to define and ship new features.
Own frontend architecture and contribute to technical decisions.
Build reusable components and scalable frontend systems.
Optimize application performance, state management, and data-fetching strategies.
Contribute across the stack to deliver end-to-end features.
Improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering practices.
Create thoughtful user experiences, including loading states and accessibility considerations.
