Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the United States to drive requirements elicitation, design discussions, and hands-on coding across the SDLC. You will contribute to architecture decisions, implement features, and help ensure software quality and stability.

The role emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional teams, proactive testing, and practical development tasks, with potential relocation/travel and US work authorization considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; may consider 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
• Candidates authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship are welcome to apply; Infosys cannot sponsor immigration.
• Experience with end-to-end SDLC and software design/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation and document assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for development teams.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features, maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
