Job summary

Metasys is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build high-performance, accessible user interfaces across our e-commerce storefront, B2B portal, and internal tools. You will implement components with Next.js 14, React 18, and TypeScript, focusing on WCAG-compliant design systems and fast page loads.

You will optimize performance with Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, and Framer Motion, while collaborating with backend engineers in a large monorepo to deliver new features and experiments.

Qualifications

Proven ability to design and implement high-performance, accessible frontends.
Strong command of modern frontend tooling and testing frameworks.
Experience working in large monorepos and collaborating with backend teams.

Responsibilities

Own client-side development across multiple products and modules.
Build and maintain UIs for e-commerce storefront, B2B portal, and internal tools.
Contribute to design system, ensure accessibility and performance.
Optimize performance, manage state, and implement smooth animations.
Support testing strategies, including end-to-end and unit tests.
Collaborate with UX designers and backend engineers to define API contracts.
Design frontend interfaces for AI agent interactions and real-time feedback.
Mentor teammates within sprint cycles and architecture reviews.
