Job summary

Adobe Stock is seeking an engineer to build backend services for the creative professional and deliver scalable ingestion and delivery pipelines. You will work on a team to add features and maintain existing ones powering Adobe Stock across apps and cloud services.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in consumer‑facing web apps, a BS in CS, and strong JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL experience. Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and testing practices is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience developing consumer-facing web applications.
• BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and comfortable with ES6, Express, & Webpack.
• Experience building microservices in Node.js, Typescript and/or PHP.
• Experience implementing JavaScript techniques, such as modules, async/await, compiling and bundling, and server rendering.
• Experience building and maintaining services using GraphQL and familiarity with GraphQL federation.
• Experience maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant, and distributed services, including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, New Relic, and Splunk.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and data flow/storage.
• Strong familiarity with functional and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with quality-driven development and testing (unit/integration).
• Experience with Agile development processes.
• Love to learn, work hard, and have fun.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend features and maintain existing ones for Adobe Stock services.
• Build scalable ingestion and delivery pipelines for the Adobe Stock ecosystem.
• Debug across multiple systems and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Deliver high quality code with attention to performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with peers and share knowledge in a team setting.
• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure reliability.
